During the Community Outreach days we meet many pregnant women and girls that have never had an ultrasound or check-up, this exposes both them and their children to enormous health risks.
During the Community Outreach days we meet many pregnant women and girls that have never had an ultrasound or check-up, and that give birth at home without the necessary hygienic conditions. This leads to serious complications and exposes both them and their children to enormous health risks. As such, in 2019 we decided to expand the Community Outreach project and to take particular care of all future mothers, from the start of their pregnancy through to birth and the first six months of the child’s life. In 2019 alone we managed to support over 300 women, accompanying them through one of the most intense and delicate periods of their life.
